Why People Don’t Listen to You

My family is full of interrupters and sentence finishers. Having a conversation with them can be exhausting because you have to stop and restart continually. I have always noticed the communication disconnect in our society, and when it happens to me, I always worry that it might be my fault when people don’t seem to hear me. Recently, I delved deeper into the reasons people don’t listen well, and I warn you the answers are not pretty, but here they are.
