Ten Steps to Happier
1) Embrace who you are
I hear people all the time comparing themselves to others and saying, I wish I was more like her, or “I want to be as talented as him.” We all have qualities that make us special and unique, and there isn’t one recipe that everyone has to follow to fit a distinct personal profile. If we were all the same, life would not be as interesting. No one can compare to you so do not fall into the comparison game.
It is exhausting trying to be someone we are not, and completely unnecessary. Enjoy who you are, and find friends who are willing to accept you that way.
