One of the most frequent excuses I hear from people for not exercising is there isn’t enough time in the day. We all have busy days, but exercise can offer us such incredible benefits that it is worth it to find a way to fit it into our day. In order to do this we can be a little creative and discover what works for us and our lifestyle. Here are a few simple ideas to help you find time for fitness.

Be intentional.

You have to recognize what fitness can do for you, and you have to commit to making it part of your daily routine. Plan to fit it into your schedule every day without making excuses.

Find the time of day that works for you.

I have the most energy in the morning and I like to do my workout then so I know I can get it done. If I wait too late my other responsibilities can derail my good intentions, and if I make the mistake of sitting on the couch after work, I am done. Some people prefer working out after work to burn off stress. Whatever time of day works for you is fine.

Sneak in movement.

You don’t have to do traditional exercise to do a fitness routine. As long as you are incorporating movement into your day you are working toward fitness. Here are a few sneaky ways to fit exercise into your day.
