We cannot do anything about our age, but there are plenty of things we can do about how we look and feel at any age. Those years will continue to flow by, but you can interrupt the aging process. Here are ten ideas on how to do that.
Food
We look for enjoyment and comfort from food, but we also need to realize that what we put in our bodies will affect the rest of our machine. Have you ever felt tired, but after eating a healthy snack and drinking some water you feel revived? The reason you feel better is because you are providing food to your body. When we eat a healthy diet, our bodies can function better. If we are only eating junk food, our body can’t process it well. If we our eating too much the extra weight can put an extra load on our body.
Healthy food doesn’t have to taste bad. You have a huge variety to choose, and with portion control, you can control your weight.
Sleep
I went to the cardiologist for a heart issue, and the first question he asked me was about how I was sleeping. I told him my sleep was fragmented because my husband snored and he said, “Jennifer, sleep is everything. It determines your health.” Sleep is when our body regroups and restores, so do your best to sleep well.
